Jimmy is not your typical salon owner. He comes from a construction background but was introduced to the hair industry over 15 years ago and hasn't stopped cutting hair since. He specializes in Balayage, Blonding and Dimensional Color techniques. He travelled as an educator for Wella Professionals for several years and continues to stay up to date with the latest color and cutting trends.

Shayna has been in the industry for 7 years. Some of the things she enjoys doing behind the chair include lived in color, foiling, and dimensional color. She loves building authentic relationships with her clients and making their hair visons become reality. When she’s not in the salon she enjoys family, her cat onyx, house plants, and exploring nature.
Lauren Schutz
Lauren is a proud cancer survivor and new mom to her son, Neo. As a stylist she’s been behind the chair for almost 15 years and specializes in lived-in color, balayage and big hair transformations with cutting and coloring. Lauren loves a challenge and is continuously learning new techniques to ensure she is up to date with all the latest trends. Making you feel beautiful and love your hair is her main goal.
Jason Hardy
Jason’s hair journey began in 2009 studying at the esteemed Aveda Institute. For nearly a decade, he styled his way through the bustling streets of NYC before relocating to Pittsburgh in 2020. Jason has a firm belief that a great consultation sets the stage for every service. He excels in understanding his client’s desires and tailoring each experience to their unique needs. Jason's specialties include the art of lived-in color and seamless gray blending. When he’s not behind the chair, you’ll find Jason exploring new places, hunting for hidden treasures, and cherishing quality moments with his husband and dog.
Halle O'Neill
Halle loves working with all texture types, but is especially passionate about curly hair. Bringing the full potential out of her client's hair with the use of a proper cut, color, and styling technique is what she strives for. Outside of the salon she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, while living a healthy lifestyle.

Erica moved to Pittsburgh in 2023 from the Pacific Northwest. She has been behind the chair since 2012, beginning her hair journey at Casal Aveda Institute. Erica loves to create seamless color and cuts that can be low maintenance for her clients but she does not shy away from a color correction or vivid color. She specializes in blonding, balayage, dimensional color, and vivid color.When she’s not at the salon you can find her checking out a museum, exploring nearby hiking trails or thrifting.
Mara Hopf
Mara loves all things fun and different. She strives to encourage her clients to be themselves and make them feel confident. In her free time, she loves going to concerts and spending time with friends and family.
Sophia Hildenbrand
Sophia is excited to dive into the world of hair and is currently in school working toward her cosmetology license. She greets every guest with a smile, ready to chat and make sure she understands exactly what you’re envisioning. She’s especially excited to grow her skills in blonding and extension work. Outside the salon, Sophia loves spending quality time with her friends and family!

Nina is a newer stylist who brings excitement, passion, and a strong work ethic to every guest. Fresh to the industry but eager to learn, she’s dedicated to helping clients feel confident, refreshed, and truly themselves. She listens closely to what each person is looking for—whether it’s a subtle change or a whole new vibe—and creates a comfortable, enjoyable experience in her chair. Every guest helps her grow, and she’s grateful for the journey. She can’t wait to meet you and bring your hair ideas to life.

Brennan is the newest assistant at Head Space Salon and is currently enrolled in cosmetology school, where he’s building a strong foundation in cutting, coloring, and styling. He’s passionate about creating a welcoming experience for every client and is eager to learn from the talented stylists around him. With a commitment to growing his skills every day, Brennan is excited to be part of the team and looks forward to helping each guest look and feel their best.
